Hump Day Lunch Break: Painted Pumpkins

Need a little crafting break in the middle of your week? Yesterday’s Hump Day Lunch Break card is proof that you don’t need a lot of time—or a complicated design—to make something cute!

I used the Painted Pumpkins Bundle along with the coordinating Painted Patch Designer Series Paper to create this cheerful fall card. The layered pumpkin images and coordinating dies make it easy to add that cozy autumn feeling without a lot of fuss. Scroll down for the YouTube video and receipe.

Cardstock Measurements

Secret Sea: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ fold in half, scraps for diecuts
Golden Glow 4″ x 5-1/4″
Petal Pink scraps for die cut labels
Calypso Coral: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Very Vanilla: 3-3/4″ x 5″, 3″ x 4-3/4″
Pool Party 2″ x 3-3/4″

And the best part? This card comes together quickly and easily with just cardstock, Designer Series Paper, and a few stamped and die-cut pieces. Check out what we did for the inside!

The Painted Patch DSP does a lot of the work for you with its painted pumpkins, gourds, leafy sprigs, and pretty fall patterns. Add a little cardstock and a few details, and you have a sweet fall card ready to send!

I wanted to step outside the traditional Christmas color palette for this card and try something a little unexpected. I paired Secret Sea, Granny Apple Green, Bubble Bath, and Basic White cardstock with Granny Apple Green and Misty Moonlight inks. I love how these colors give the card a fresh, modern holiday feel while still keeping it festive!

This card features a more traditional Christmas color palette. I used Peaceful Pine, Cherry Cobbler, and Basic White cardstock, paired with Peaceful Pine and Cherry Cobbler inks. The rich, classic colors give this card that timeless Christmas feel.

Once again, I decided to step outside the traditional Christmas color palette with this card. I used Gray Granite and Basic White cardstock, then added stamped details in Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Gray Granite, and Timid Tiger inks. The bright, unexpected colors coordinate beautifully with the Sunset Sequins, adding just the right finishing touch!
