The last Friday of every month I have a Facebook Live Event called Paper Pumpkin Pajama Party. we start by making the projects using the step by step instructions included in the kit and then we let are creativity run wild.

There are the 3 card designs in this month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit- Lots of Pun from Stampin’ Up!

Now see what you can do by bringing in a couple pieces of cardstock for card bases and a few white envelopes. At first I was not sure what I would end up with , but as I played around the cards just seem to make themselves. Lots of Pun Paper Pumpkin alternatives
These are a few of the alternative cards we made using this month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin’ Up!

I think the last two are cards are may favorite. All I did was add a little card stock and came up with some quick and easy cards. I love that these kits come with everything that coordinates and I can also use what I have in my stash here at My Stamp Studio.

Christmas Card Online Class – Week 2 Classic Cloche

October 24th was our second Class in the Christmas Card Online Class series. It featured the Classic Cloche stamp set and coordinating dies. I have made several cards from this stamp set. I think I love the “snow globe” cloche card the best. During the Live I did also offer some alternative is you don’t have a die cut machine. I love to show how versatile stamp sets and bundles can be for all levels of stampers.

This first card is a shaker card. I really like how this turned out. I also used the same idea to create an alternate card if you don’t have the Cloche dies. But, these dies also coordinate with the Sweets & Treats stamp set from week 1 in the Christmas Card Online class series. I first stamped the Soft Succulent cardstock with Soft Succulent ink to give the card some depth. I then used the Cloche dies to die cut an opening for my shaker component. I added some Die cut trees from Evening Evergreen card stock some Soft Succulent ribbon and of course the bling is in the shaker. On the alternate card I fussy cut the cloche image and stamped a village inside. If you would like to see how I made these cards check out my facebook page and video

I wanted to show other ways to use this set not just as a Cloche. So I added the wreath from the Seasonal Swirls dies, and grabbed some of the Tidings of Christmas designer series paper. To finish it off I used the Red Rhinestones for a little touch of bling. The products I used are listed below and can be purchased in my Online store.

You can check out my Facebook page: My Stamp Studio- join the group and don’t miss out on the weekly online class every Thursday Night at 6:45 central.

This is the second card in the Christmas Card Online Class featuring the Sweets & Treats stamp set. Isn’t it adorable and it was so simple to make. If you don’t have a die cut machine, you can easily just cut rectangles from card stock. We only used two stamp pads for this card, the Memento Black ink and Old Olive Classic ink. Here is the Facebook Live video: https://fb.watch/8KBnRQK21z/ Watch the video of added Ordering special!

This was the third card in this weeks class. While is it not quite a Christmas Card it can be used during the Thanksgiving Season. I just love using Blends and Wink of Stella. Penguins and Puffins- Hump Day Lunch Break

Today during our Hump Day Lunch Break live on Facebook, I featured the Penguin Place and Patry puffins stamp sets. These sets are so cute. when I first saw them I though, ahhh I can pass these up. But as I started playing with them I realized they were so worth it. Not to mention there is some darling designer paper that coordinates with the Penguin Place stamp set. It is called the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper and is featured in the Sale-a-bration catalog. You can not purchase the DSP, I can’t even purchase it. BUT, you can get it for free with a $50 order in my online store. All week I will be featuring the Penguin Place bundle, and Penguin Playmates paper. Come back again tomorrow for more!

Here are the two stamp sets I used today:

Onto the card… This is a Book Binding Fun Fold card. The finished card size is the same 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ but only a 4 1/4″ flap in front opens. I started with a piece of Pool Party card stock measured at 4 1/4″ x 11″. On the 11″ side I scored at 4″ and 5 1/2″. I then cut a my Designer Paper, Today’s card actually is featuring the Pattern Play Hostess Designer series paper. It is a larg pack fo 12 x 12 paper. One side has bright colors and the other is black and white. You can use this pack of papers for a long time and have a different look with every card. I choose to use the Pool Party dots and the Black and White dotted papers. I cut those at 3 3/4″ x 4″ and 1 1/4″ x 4″. I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock a 3 3/4″ x 4″ for the inside. Then on a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock I stamped the images I would fussy cut out.

I stamped the Penguin in Stazon Black, and the Party Puffin in Black Memento Ink. You can use either one, for the video I was just explaining the differences between the inks. I used Pool Party ink to create the hill. you can watch the video here: Penguin and Puffin Too Cool Card. I did use Mango Melody and Coastal Cabana Markets to color the puffin but you could easily use Blender pens and your Stampin Up Classic Ink pads or watercolor pencils.

This is the inside of the card. I used the sentiments from the Party Puffins stamp set and stamped in Pool Party ink. I created the Penguin using the Penguin punch that car be purchased as part of the Penguin Place bundle or individually

I created a second card using the same measurements, cardstock and designer papers. I just changed up using the Penguin Builder Punch and added some Fresh Freesia cardstock. It is so easy to change up the colors for the person you are making the card for. The supplies I used for this card are listed below.
