Hump Day Lunch Break- Spotlight on Nature round 2

The Spotlight on Nature Stamp set and coordinating dies makes for some really beautiful cards. With soft greenery, florals, appreciative sentiments, and more, the Spotlight on Nature Bundle is a great way to make all-occasion, thank you, and friendship cards and paper crafts. The stamp set pairs with the circular dies to create a centerpiece on your card, or layer a few die-cut circles with the Thanks sentiment and filler stamps. This stamp set is so versatile!

Measurements for Todays Card:

  • Pretty In Pink Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, 4″ x 4″

  • Basic White Cardstock: 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″, 3-3/4″ x 5″, scrap for image

I know when I saw the dies that coordinate with this stamp set, I had to have them. Not only do they cut our the tools you stamp and from the Trust Tools Designer Paper- but you can make your own toolbox and stuff it full of tools. I love the peg board die that is also included. Scroll down for a list of all the supplies used in all three cards.

on this fun card, I decided to add the Metallic Plate Embossing folder to my background layer. Plus, I used the Zinnia DSP (which is floral on one side but geometric on the other side using fun and bright colors.) This was actually a pretty quick card. Scroll down for a list of all the supplies used in all three cards.

The third card is super quick and really is just paper and die cuts- okay a stamped sentiment. Buti loved the way this turned out. Scroll down for a list of all the supplies used in all three cards.

Getting ready for warm weather and sunshine?

I don’t know about you but come March I am ready for spring and summer. I can’t believe here in Wisconsin we had SNOW the first few days of April. Ok, I lied it is Wisconsin where our weather changes by the minute. In December of January we had a 70degree day. Aaah but enough about that, we can’t control the weather, so may as well roll with the changes. Isn’t that a song?

One thing I love to do when its this time of year and I am tired of Winter and the cold, I create cards that make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. That is a good warm feeling, Hot Flashes- not a good warm!

Today I am featuring one of my more favorite Stampin’ Up! Stamps and dies. So many times its hard to image what you can actually create with this bundle. So below are some ideas for you.

You can almost feel the cool refreshing lemonade on this card. I used some of our newer colors to create this card. I used my blending brushes to create a ombre look on the white cardstock. I stamped my images using Azure Afternoon, Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green inks. The layout for this card is pretty simple.

  • Lemon Lolly CS: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
  • Azure Afternoon CS: 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Basic White CS: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″

There is a table of products show below.

This next card I decided to go with a Limeade theme. I used our Subtles Designer Series Paper to really make the Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist stand out. I also colored the ribbon using Stampin’ Up! Blends. I mixed things up by stamping on Soft Seafoam card stock then die cutting the images. it gave the pitcher a little softer look. i like to also add vellum to give the card an additional softness.

Today I pooped on my YouTube channel and did a quick live making this fun fold card. Well it did not turn out as well as I would hav3e liked, but hey sometimes nerves get to us. You will get the gist of the card anyways.

Measurements for the card:

  • Thick Basic White CardstockL 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″4
  • Bubble Bath Cardstock: 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″ and 5″ x 3″
  • Basic White Card stock: 2 pieces that are 2-3/4″ x 4-1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 2″ x 4-1/8″ and 3/4: x 2-3/4″
