Market Goodness Fun Fold

Today is the second class in our Fun Fun Fold series. This card was inspired by a card I received from my downline that I thought would be great for the class. I knew I wanted to continue using the designer papers from Stampin’ Up! as they are on sale right now for 15% off. You can bet that I have been stocking up on DSP! The To Market DSP is so fun. I knew when I saw it I had to use it. Originally, I was planning on creating a Recipe Book with it. I just haven’t gotten that far. I will do that during my Farmers Market and for Craft fairs. To get the measurements, watch the YouTube Video below.

If you are enjoying these fun folds and would like to get the detailed tutorial for all 6 Fun Fold cards, place a $50 retail order in my online store using host code: CEPUFVBC by August 25 and I will email the tutorial with all the measurements, directions supplies and color pictures.

Fun Fold Class Series

This week i am featuring Fun Fold cards. Fun fold cards are unique and will make your creations really stand out and Wow your friends and family. This class series will up your card making skills. You will learn new techniques to make some fun cards. Fun Folds are some of my more favorite techniques to not only make but to share with others. I challenge you to try these out! Our first Fun Fold is what I am calling a Pop Up Easel card. Is this really the name of this? Not sure but it is what I am calling it. It is a hybrid of a Pop Up card and an Easel card. All the supplies used to make this card are listed below as well as the YouTube video replay. I hope you enjoy this card. If you make this card, I would love you to share it with us. You can join the My Stamp Studio VIP group and post a picture of it.

Getting ready for warm weather and sunshine?

I don’t know about you but come March I am ready for spring and summer. I can’t believe here in Wisconsin we had SNOW the first few days of April. Ok, I lied it is Wisconsin where our weather changes by the minute. In December of January we had a 70degree day. Aaah but enough about that, we can’t control the weather, so may as well roll with the changes. Isn’t that a song?

One thing I love to do when its this time of year and I am tired of Winter and the cold, I create cards that make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. That is a good warm feeling, Hot Flashes- not a good warm!

Today I am featuring one of my more favorite Stampin’ Up! Stamps and dies. So many times its hard to image what you can actually create with this bundle. So below are some ideas for you.

You can almost feel the cool refreshing lemonade on this card. I used some of our newer colors to create this card. I used my blending brushes to create a ombre look on the white cardstock. I stamped my images using Azure Afternoon, Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green inks. The layout for this card is pretty simple.

  • Lemon Lolly CS: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
  • Azure Afternoon CS: 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Basic White CS: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″

There is a table of products show below.

This next card I decided to go with a Limeade theme. I used our Subtles Designer Series Paper to really make the Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist stand out. I also colored the ribbon using Stampin’ Up! Blends. I mixed things up by stamping on Soft Seafoam card stock then die cutting the images. it gave the pitcher a little softer look. i like to also add vellum to give the card an additional softness.

Today I pooped on my YouTube channel and did a quick live making this fun fold card. Well it did not turn out as well as I would hav3e liked, but hey sometimes nerves get to us. You will get the gist of the card anyways.

Measurements for the card:

  • Thick Basic White CardstockL 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″4
  • Bubble Bath Cardstock: 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″ and 5″ x 3″
  • Basic White Card stock: 2 pieces that are 2-3/4″ x 4-1/4″
  • Designer Paper: 2″ x 4-1/8″ and 3/4: x 2-3/4″
