Hump Day Lunch Break with the Gnomes!

I tell ya, the stamp set and dies are do much fun and so darn cute. I couldn’t resist making an other cards. And despite the Severe Thunderstorms and Tornado Warnings and alarms- I was able to pull off our lunch break live. It was a little late, but hey had to be stay and make sure my family and a furry child was taken care of.

For this card, I decided to just focus on the Gnome dies. I did add the Harvest dies to give my card some dimension. I though it turned out rather cut having one of the Gnomes hiding behind the greenery. What do you think? I wanted to keep it simple so I used Pear Pizzazz cardstock for my card layer and the Greenery and Grass that was added. While the vibrant colors from the Regal color family does all the work.

Hump Day Lunch Break with My Stamp Studio

Today’s Hump Day Lunch Break was about using one card layout (or sketch) to create mutliple cards by simply swapping out stamp sets. The goal was to feature Stampin’ Up!s beautiful cardstock colors. The colors featured in today’s Live are the same colors that have been posted to the Ink Trail team Color Challenge. Each month, we have a Color Challenge and a Sketch Challenge that we participate in. We make projects using the colors or sketch that have been posted and we share our ideas with each other. If this is something you would be interested, I invite you to join my Ink Trails Team. Would you like to learn more or participate in a team meeting? Please reach out to me and I will send you an invite. October’s Team meeting is in person and a zoom meeting, October 16th at 6:30 pm (central)

now on to our cards…

Our first card uses the colors below: Starry Sky, Parakeet Party and Balmy Blue. And these are the pieces for our card layout. I used the Layering Circle Dies and the Decorative circle punch to cut out the cardstock pieces. You can easily use and punch or die shapes

To showcase our colors and sketch layout, I thought I would be fun to use the Gnomes dies. Did you know that the Kindest Gnomes stamp set and Gnomes dies are the featured products in this months Studio Card Club? You can see more information and register for that class by going to the Studio Card Club page.

We used the same Card layout for the second card and just swtiched out the colors and stamp set. This time I used the Snowman Magic Bundle. (Snowman Magic Stamp set and coordinating Snowman dies). This is such an adorable set. I have had quite a bit of fun making cards using this set. Check out this blog post: for more Snowman Magic Ideas.

Hump Day Dinner Break

Today I had to change up our normal Hump Day Lunch Break live to a Dinner Break Live. Sometimes, life just interrupts our plans but I had this cute card I couldn’t wait to share with you. It use the Bewitched Bundle and is a Fun Fold that i really quick and easy to make.

To create this card I started with a piece of 8-12″ x 5-1/2″ Gorgeous Grape card stock. I scored it at 2″, 4″, 6″ 8″ on the 8-1/2″ side. I then formed the opened ended box. Check out the video to see how I adhered shut. I had two strips of Black & White Designer Paper that measured 1-3/4″ x 5-1/4″. I adhered these to the front panels. Using the Stylish shape (Circle) dies I have one in Highland Heather and the second circles lightly smaller in Basic White. I used Gorgeous Grape and stamped or using the Alphabest stamp set. On a scrap piece of basic white. I stamped the Witches hat and punched out using the hat builder punch. From basic white scraps measuring 3/4″ x 1-1/2″ I stamped Trick and Treat using Gorgeous Grape Ink. To finish off the card,

I used the Glossy Gems embellishments to ad a little glimmer and shine to the card. All products can be found in my online store by clicking anyone of the images below, or click HERE

Hump Day Lunch Break from Pretty to WOW

Today’s lunch break featured taking a card from Pretty to WOW. Every Wednesday I do a Facebook live during lunch. You find it on my Facebook Page: My Stamp Studio. It’s a little crafting break during the week. Today, we used the Amazing Year stamp set and combined it with the Cheerful Basket stamp set and Full Basket Dies. I also upload the videos to YouTube. I have also posted the video below.

This Pretty card was made using stamps ink and paper what is commonly referred to as a SIP card. The flowers are from the Amazing Year Stamp and the sentiment, butterfly and basket are all from the Cheerful Basket Stamp set. Both stamp sets are in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. I used Stampin’ Blends (really great coloring tools) to make the flowers have some depth. Adding some designer series paper gives your card a little pop. The card has the Happy Forest Friends Designer Paper. All these products are available in my online store (while supplies last). The links for each of the products (and my store) are below- just click on any of the images.

The WOW card uses the same things as the Pretty card but we stepped it up a bit by using the Full Basket Dies, Seasonal Label Dies, some ribbon and 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds. This is an adorable card, even if you are not a cat lover. I used the So Saffron Stampin’ Blends to color the white crinkled ribbon. Added in some dimensionals and a little extra bling and texture. All products used are in my online store and shown below. Check out the “YouTube video below.

Brewed for You

Did you know that on Sept 15. 2022 you can get this stamp sets at 15% off?

Check out these cards and Self Closing Treat Box using the Brewed for You Stamp set and coordinating Dies. You can purchase the stamp set without the dies and just cut out the images as needed or stamp directly on to cardstock as shown on the Treat Box.

This fun fold cards was part of a Catalog Swap I participated in. What is a swap? This is where people make x number of cards of the same design and trade with others. As a Demonstrator, I participate in at least 4 swaps a year. It is a great way to get ideas and share with others and not have to purchase everything in the catalog to demonstrate with. This card was made by Linda Sebrasky from Ohio.
